WHY IT EXISTS
Two seasons, two paths,
one system
Riding a trail and carving a slope are different skills, so they follow different paths. Summer runs on eleven levels named after the animals of these mountains; winter on five leagues, from first contact with the snow to riding the whole mountain. The principle is the same in both: levels earned through real skills, a badge to mark each one, and a card that carries progress from season to season — and from summer to winter.
Winter — the snow path
Five leagues, from the first steps on flat snow to riding the whole mountain in any condition. The structure mirrors official Swiss Snowsports levels, so progress with APEX is recognised anywhere.
Every league corresponds to an internal Swiss Snowsports equivalence, so a child changing school or country keeps a recognised level.
SUMMER — the Trail path
Eleven levels, named after the animals that share these mountains. Each one marks a real step: balance, braking, cornering, reading the terrain, riding technical ground with confidence.
Each level comes with a badge and a card that travels with the rider from season to season. Trail difficulty colours help families understand what their child is riding, and what comes next.
HOW IT WORKS
We assess on day one
Your instructor places each rider at the right level in the first session — not by age, but by what they can actually do.
Skills are worked, not ticked
Each level has defined skills. They're practised through the week on terrain that matches, until they're genuinely acquired.
The badge is earned
When a level is reached, the rider receives their badge and a card recording it. No participation trophies — the badge means the skill is there.
The next season starts higher
The card travels with your child. Come back next year, and we start from the level reached, not from zero.
What it means for families
You can see the progress
No more "it was fine". A level reached is a concrete, explainable result at the end of the week.
Children stay motivated
A visible goal changes everything. Riders push through the difficult moments because they know what's at the end of them.
Groups are properly matched
Because everyone is assessed, groups are formed by real ability — so nobody waits and nobody is out of their depth.
Nothing is lost between seasons
The system carries over year after year, summer and winter. Progress accumulates instead of resetting.
