Careers at APEX

Teach the way you'd want to be taught

We’re building a team of instructors who take teaching as seriously as riding. If that’s you, we’d like to hear from you.

What we look for

Certified, always

Swiss Snowsports qualifications for Ski & Snowboard (or equivalence), Swiss Cycling for bike (or equivalence) or very solid experience. Non-negotiable — it’s what our clients are paying for.

Teaching as a craft

Riding well and teaching well are different skills. We hire for both: patience, clarity, and the ability to read a nervous eight-year-old or an over-confident teenager.

Languages

English as a minimum. French, German, Italian or anything else is a real advantage with our clientele.

Local knowledge

Knowing when a slope is icy, where the snow holds, which trail works in the rain. That comes from riding here, not from a map.

Poise with any guest

A sense of service
We work with a demanding, international clientele. Punctuality, presentation, discretion — the details that make a family feel properly looked after, from the first handshake to the last run.

What we offer

Rates 15% above the market

We pay more than the other schools in the resort, on every hour worked. Good instructors are the product — we’d rather pay for them properly than compete on volume.

Uniforms built for instructors

High-end technical kit, chosen by people who actually stand on a cold slope all day. Resistant, warm, and something you’ll be glad to wear.

Equipment at instructor rates

Preferential deals on your own gear through our partners. Because what you ride on your days off matters too.

A real team, not a roster

Events, training and support through your qualifications — including help finishing your degree. You’re joining a group of people who ride together, not a name on a planning sheet..

Two seasons, and room to grow

Bike in summer, snow in winter — a year-round position rather than a four-month season. And for those who want more, real opportunities to develop your own activity within APEX, discussed directly with the direction.

Open positions

Not seeing your profile? We're always interested in meeting good instructors. Write to us anyway.
